Themes and Colour Schemes

Over the past year the abmx-h group has held regular 'Theme' nights, when images have been posted to reflect a chosen theme or subject. These are great fun and can be a real challenge. Here are some of my responses to the themes set so far ...

'Alter Ego's'

Three familiar characters in unfamiliar guise:

	Ares -as the Sovereign's God of Love
Xena - as the Sovereign's Mistress
	And Iolaus Mark II - the Sovereign's Jester

Amazons with attitude

(If they haven't got attitude - they're not Amazons!)

Against all odds

Every good series resorts to a flashback now and again. This is mine - a flashback to a previous theme night!

Storming the gates of the underworld- with a lost love at your side. Pretty tough odds, if you ask me.

Baddies

Friends, Romans, countrymen ...

The best at being bad - and at her best doing it!

Do not despise the snake because it has no horns. Who is to say it will not become a Dragon?

This is a dragon who was also a snake ...

Beginnings

Some things are eternal. This friendship is probably one of them!

And this was the beginning of another such unbreakable bond.

But to get there, Xena had to face this first.

A rather violent end to her old life - but a true beginning to the new one.

Dreams and Nightmares

	'He looks so cute when he's asleep - but you don't know what he'd dreaming about, do you!' The question here is - who's dreaming of who?
No question here though. The quickest and surest way to upset Hercules is to murder his best friend. Again.
	Ares dream - Xena's nightmare.
Which is nowhere near as bad as this one. It's just not safe being a sidekick!
	Although it can have its compensations! (For Gabrielle, at least ...)
But this is my worst nightmare - and probably Iolaus' too, after meeting Arachne face to face ...
