Good fighting

Warsong

Words by James Elroy Flecker

Xena in the good old, bad old days ...

It's used purely for defence, you understand ...

Gabrielle and her little stick
A match made in heaven.

When you run out of enemies to fight, who can you turn to but your best friend?

Love and all that

A Kiss is still a Kiss, a sigh is just a sigh. The world will still remember lovers - as time goes by

And then there's real life romance ...

An on screen chemistry that became a permanent arrangement.

There are other kinds of love of course.

Like that of a mother for her child.

I think in Xena's case this could be called 'Tough Love'

Magic and Mystery

To walk the path of the Shaman, you must first survive the Initiation.

Speaking of which ...

One of the oldest myths in the world concerns the hero's descent into the Underworld

For Hercules this is practically a day trip.

After the mystery - the magic.

A good fairy tale has a charming prince, a beautiful princess, and at least one good fairy to help things along.

Well, if the Shoe Fits ...

Moments of Reflection

The son of Zeus ponders the people - and gods - who have influenced his life.

One way or the other ...

For some, looking back is not such a good idea.

Xena considers some of the past events of her life.

Some of which, others also have cause to regret.

Iolaus may have long since forgiven Xena for the way she treated him - but, when confronted by her death, he undoubtedly had reason to remember it.

'Pairs'

Some may like it hot - but these two were practically steaming!

A magic combination.

And here's another pair the Herculean world would be a lot duller without.

Two beautiful goddesses - with very different motivations.

Well, that's what they claim, anyway!

An unlikely combination - but these two have more in common than they think.

The lighter side

What do Heroes do on their days off?

A little hunting perhaps?

Shooting?
Actually, they usually go fishing ...

And then spend the evening at the Theatre.

Well, with a show like this to see, who wouldn't!
